If this is your week…

You're not bad at business. The books just stopped telling the truth about your business.

You don’t trust the number

Cash in the bank and the P&L never agree, so every decision feels like a coin flip.

The backlog has a gravity of its own

Every month you promise “we’ll catch up.” Every month the pile gets heavier.

Tax season becomes a hostage situation

You pay for cleanup under deadline pressure instead of on your terms.

The Small Business Books Cleanup Package

Fixed-fee cleanup for owners who want numbers they can run a business on.

Full diagnostic review

Every account reconciled and every anomaly documented before we change a thing.

Catch-up categorization

The backlog cleared with industry-correct categories, not a generic chart of accounts.

Clean handoff report

A before/after summary and simple monthly rhythm so it stays clean.

If our assessment can’t show you exactly what’s wrong and what it costs to fix, the assessment costs you nothing. No obligation either way.

The books are a mess. Can I send them without a speech?

You already know they are a mess. That is why the login sits untouched. The longer it sits, the speech in your head gets longer: the apology, the explanation, the promise that next month will be different. None of that speech helps the file. The mess is the reason to write in. It is not a confession.

Nobody is waiting to grade you. A messy set of books is not a character reference, and it is not rare. The useful thing in the pile is the break itself: the month you stopped, the transfer you meant to fix, the envelope you never opened. Tidying those before you ask removes the clues. Shame is efficient at hiding clues. The kinder order is the one that skips the shame.

Here is that order. Stop cleaning the night before you ask. Pick the last month that still felt true and write it as a single line, even if the line embarrasses you. Send the statements from the month after that line, downloads and all, with no notes in the margins. Then wait for a short reply that lists what is absent. That reply is not a critique of how you got here. It is a stack with a top page. A stack can be worked. A feeling of failure cannot.

The temperature drops when the next action is smaller than the whole disaster. You are not fixing the year tonight. You are naming one month and attaching the paper that follows it. If you can do that, you have started. If the paper is incomplete, say so in the same line. Incomplete is allowed. Performed-tidy is what keeps people up.

You will not be asked to explain your character, your discipline, or why the books slipped. You may be asked what a particular payment was, because only you were there. That is a fact question, not a verdict. Answer the fact. Leave the verdict out. The file does not need it, and neither do you.

When you are ready, use the form and send the month you have been avoiding. No preamble required.

Common questions

Do I have to explain how the books got this bad?

No. The mess is the reason to write in, not a confession. You will not be asked about your discipline. You may be asked what a particular payment was, because only you were there. That is a fact, not a verdict.

What should I do the night before I ask for help?

Stop cleaning. Pick the last month that still felt true and write it in one line. Send the statements after that line as they are. Tidying first hides the breaks, and the breaks are the useful part.

What if I feel embarrassed to send the file?

Send it anyway. Embarrassment makes people perform a tidy version and erase the clues. A short reply will list what is absent. That list is smaller than the feeling, and it is the part you can work.

How far behind is too far behind?

We’ve rebuilt books from bank statements alone going back multiple years. There is no “too messy.”

Will you judge the mess?

Never. Messy books are a symptom of a busy business. Fixing them is literally what we do all day.

What happens after the cleanup?

You get a simple monthly closing rhythm. Keep it in-house or have us maintain it. Your choice, no lock-in.
